AIM History

Since 1982, AIM has been promoting health and providing economic opportunity with an unparalleled product line and a rewarding compensation plan. As a leader in the health and nutrition industry, AIM has pioneered green juice drinks and an assortment of whole-food concentrates while maintaining a consistent income source for its Member distributors.

Throughout its years of service, AIM has never been late on a commission payment and has never compromised its values of quality, affordability, and convenience with its products. What began as a tiny company has blossomed into an international corporation with an active Member base of over 100,000 worldwide.

• AIM celebrates 30 years in business

• Convention held on a Caribbean cruise to Princess Cays, Bahamas, Curacao, Antilles, and Aruba.

• AIM-sponsored speedskater J.R. Celski sets the world record in the 500-meters and wins the U.S. national championship

• AIM introduces the AIM Academy

• AIMing Higher training session broadcast from Nampa, Idaho, via webinar

• Cheryl Lucas inducted into the Million Dollar Club

• AIM co-sponsored a weekend of Idaho Steelheads hockey and a winter clothing drive with a special appearance by Olympian J.R. Celski.

• AIM was named one of the top 75 private companies in Idaho.

• AIM LeafGreens® vegetarian capsules introduced.

2009

• AIM-sponsored speed skater J.R. Celski qualifies for the Winter Olympics with a second-place finish in the U.S. Olympic Trials. AIM’s annual convention is held in Las Vegas, Nevada, where new products AIM ProPeas® and AIM CellStar™ are introduced. CellStar is AIM’s first bottled juice drink.

• AIM begins its Automatic Monthly Reorder program, which allows Members to place automatic, customizable orders. AIM fit ‘n fiber® debuts.

2008

• AIM begins using social media to connect with Members and the public by adding AIM videos onto YouTube. AIM’s annual convention is held in Norfolk, Virginia, and CalciAIM™ and AIM LeafGreens® are introduced.

2007

• At AIM's 25th anniversary celebration in Orlando, Florida, AIM launches a new personal care product line, dailyLife™ by AIM. AIM Peak Endurance® is also introduced.

2006

• AIM unveils its SmartStart program for encouraging new Member sign-ups, and AIM begins sending out an e-newsletter to Members. The annual convention is held in San Antonio, Texas.

2005

AIM continues its international reach and established AIM United Kingdom. AIM’s annual convention is held in Tucson, Arizona, and AIM BarleyLife® Xtra and AIMega® are introduced.

2004

• AIM begins sponsorship of speed skater J.R. Celski – a future Winter Olympian and two-time medal winner. AIM holds its annual convention locally in Boise, Idaho, and AIM HumiKleanse® and AIM Herbal Fiberblend® capsules are introduced.

2003

• AIM completes its move into a new, three-story building at company headquarters in Nampa, Idaho. AIM holds its annual convention in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and introduces AIM BarleyLife® capsules.

2002

• AIM produces and launches a new, improved green barley juice product, AIM BarleyLife®, at the company’s 20th anniversary celebration in Hawaii. BarleyLife is the first product produced completely by AIM – from the field to the Members’ front door.

2001

• AIM holds its annual convention at Miami Beach, Florida, and introduces AIM GlucoChrom™ and AIM GinkgoSense™.

2000

• The inaugural AIMing Higher training session takes place in Nampa, Idaho. AIM introduces e-commerce onto the corporate website and adds BizLink as a business organization tool for Members. AIM Cell Wellness Restorer™ is introduced.

1999

• AIM unveils its corporate website and its Living Well concept. In addition, Member websites first become available and construction on a new corporate office building is completed.

• The annual AIM convention is held in Baltimore, Maryland, and AIM RevitaFem®, AIM Frame Essentials®, AIM Proancynol® 2000, AIM PrepZymes®, and AIM FloraFood® are introduced.

1998

• AIM rolls out its new self-developed company software, Nutri Suite, and debuts its Teleclass program for Member education via phone conference. AIM convention is held in Scottsdale, Arizona.

1997

• AIM is recognized as one of Idaho’s top 75 private companies (along with companies like Micron and Washington Group International)—a distinction AIM has enjoyed seven times since 1997. In addition, AIM is featured in Money Makers Monthly and is listed as one of the top 20 companies in Wealth Building Magazine.Nampa Mayor Winston Gering proclaims April 28 to be AIM International Day in Nampa, Idaho.

• The AIM Compensation Plan is updated to include the new Ladder of Opportunity. The annual convention is held in Banff, Alberta, Canada, and AIM introduces AIM ReAssure® and AIM Para 90®.

1996

• AIM South Africa is established, and a new warehouse is built in Oklahoma. The annual AIM convention is held in Boca Raton, Florida, and AIM Bear Paw Garlic®, AIM Renewed Balance®, and AIM Cellsparc 360® are introduced.

1995

• AIM New Zealand is established, and an AIM office is opened in Singapore. The annual AIM convention is held in San Francisco, California, and AIM partners with Operation Blessing on a food drive to help feed the hungry and assist those less fortunate.

1994

• AIM relocates its offices to a new 24,000-square-foot facility that includes a distribution center and a full audio/video studio.

AIM Australia is established. Conventions are held in San Diego, California; Toronto, Ontario, Canada; Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; and San Antonio, Texas. AIM introduces the AIM Garden Trio® (BarleyLife, Just Carrots, and RediBeets) and AIM Proancynol®.

1993

• Conventions are held in Oxnard, California; Banff, Alberta, Canada; Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico; Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada; and Orlando, Florida. AIM RediBeets® and AIM Herbal Release® are introduced.

1992

• The company’s first international convention is held in Taipei, Taiwan, where AIM opens a new branch. The Nampa office receives an upgrade with an additional 11,000 square feet added onto the existing building.

• AIM celebrates its 10-year anniversary with a convention in Boise, Idaho, and introduces raspberry-flavored Herbal Fiberblend.

1991

• AIM products begin shipping to Taiwan and Hong Kong. Over 1,200 Members attend AIM’s Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, convention, and AIM Just Carrots® is introduced.

1990

• AIM Member Harry Sneider broke the bench press world record by lifting 400 pounds. AIM Member Gretchen Mack, age 80, won a gold medal in swimming at the World Senior Games.

• AIM’s first convention is held in Orlando, Florida, and AIM begins a home meeting campaign, complete with home meeting kits.

1989

• AIM begins selling to Chinese Members. AIM introduces AIM Composure, AIM Cascara Sagrada, and a quarterly video magazine. The song “In Partnership for Life” is created and becomes an annual part of AIM conventions.

1988

• With its worldwide reach growing, AIM officially changes its name to AIM International, Inc.

• AIM’s product line expands with the introduction of AIM Herbal Fiberblend® - a flagship colon cleanser. Coezyme Q10 also debuts. The product has since been renamed AIM CellSparc 360®.

1987

• AIM celebrates its five-year anniversary. AIM Canada opens its doors in Calgary, Alberta, and AIM begins selling product in Puerto Rico. A leadership conference is held in Boise, Idaho, and AIM creates a magazine to replace its Member newsletter; the magazine remains in circulation today.

• Joe Koshi becomes the first Member to reach Chairman’s Club Director – the company’s top Member level.

1986

• AIM rallies are held in Orlando, Florida; Dallas, Texas; and Boise, Idaho. A pair of AIM contests rewards Members with a cruise to the Bahamas and a 1986 Chrysler – the first vehicle giveaway in AIM history. AIM opens a distribution center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

1985

T• he first AIM convention, dubbed “AIM Convention Rally,” is held in Lake Tahoe. Conventions soon become a regular part of AIM’s Member training. AIM introduces a barley product with kelp, and a distribution center in Lexington, Kentucky, opens.

1984

• AIM holds its first contest for Members with the grand prize a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii; Las Vegas, Nevada; or Lake Tahoe, Nevada. A new marketing plan adds Elite Director levels, including Chairman’s Club Director – the highest Member level in the AIM Compensation Plan. A distribution center opens in Honolulu, Hawaii.

1983

• AIM introduces the Healthy Cell Concept™ as the premise of AIM’s products and mission.

• Distribution centers open in Lakewood, California, and Nampa, Idaho.

1982

• The AIM Companies begins with distribution of a green barley product championed by Dennis Itami. A founder of AIM, Dennis is joined by Ron Wright, and the two decide on a vision to bring health and financial opportunity to people around the world. Member-operated distribution centers open in homes in Seattle, Washington; Portland, Oregon; Los Angeles, California; and Denver, Colorado.
